Everybody's Gotta Learn Sometime

WOW has this semester flown by. We have only a month before finals and then summer begins.

I must admit, I thought this semester would be a breeze. I ended up learning more about myself than I realized. I was able to tap inside my head and write freely without thought. I honestly never thought I could be so passionate and fired up about a paper. I was wrong. Another point…I have always loved math. Until this semester, numbers was something that I understood. Although, let me just say, statistics is a whole other story. I’m doing okay in the class, but it’s not near what I want it to be. Some days I have it figured out, but come test day, no more.

Besides learning about myself relating school, I learned about my personality. I tend to care about others more than I care about myself. If I’m having a lousy day, but I see a friend who seems miserable, I’ll take on her problems and carry it with me in addition to my own. No need to add on to her grief, but I’ll gladly take on hers. I’m not sure what that means of me. Some of my friends tell me that I’m crazy and need to start looking out for me, but I’d rather have my friend happy over me any day.

And lastly, I learned about relationships. My boyfriend and I recently celebrated our one year of being together. As ecstatic as I am, I felt like the moment just came and went really. Relationships are tricky like that. While a lot of time has passed, the relationship made it seem like it just whizzed by me without a thought. They’ll also test you into thinking the worst about every situation, just to see what kind of outcome you would lead yourself to. Hopefully you make the right decisions and stay happy with your choice. I know I am :)

And with this my classmates, I leave you, adieu. Good luck on all your finals and have a great summer!

  1. Haha... Yes! I know, right?! Math and Statistics are on different levels. Other than knowing the basics of math, everything else you learned about math is irrelevant. Statistics has it's own probabilities, equations, and other variations of "math" that we would have never considered. I mean.. ughhh.. But you'll figure out its pattern. Just keep at it.. you'll see it sooner or later =P

Good luck to you as well. :)

  2. I hated statistics when I took that class. The teacher didn't make it any better with his half-way attempt to explain the topics. I hope you did well in your classes this semester.

  3. You're going to be fine. And caring about people is not a bad thing!
